A specialist, not a generalist.

RFB Gloves does one difficult thing well: dipping attenuation compounds into thin, anatomically shaped gloves that clinicians can actually operate in — and proving the shielding with published data.

Who We Are

A Legacy of Trust, A Future of Precision: The Next Generation of Radiation Safety

RFB has been a trusted name in Radiation Protection for over 25 years. With our legacy built on a foundation of proven safety and uncompromising quality, we are building our future on the pillars of continuous innovation, pioneering research, robust development and advanced manufacturing.

Through continuous investment in R&D, manufacturing automation, next‑generation materials and rigorous certifications, we are committed to remaining at the forefront of protective glove technology — honouring decades of craftsmanship while engineering the future of radiation safety.

Our product range currently spans three attenuation chemistries: Lead oxide, Bismuth oxide and Tungsten — carried in three polymer platforms: Dry Natural Rubber, Polyisoprene and Natural Rubber Latex. This matrix lets us match shielding, tactile sensitivity and material policy to each application and end‑user.

How We Operate

The commitments behind the CE mark.

Quality system

Manufacturing in accordance with ISO 13485:2016 and ISO 9001:2015, with 100% final inspection to AQL 0.65 for freedom from holes.

Certified protection

CE‑marked Category III PPE under Regulation (EU) 2016/425, tested to EN/IEC 61331‑1, ASTM F2547 and EN 421.

Sterile supply

Ethylene‑oxide sterilisation to SAL 10⁻⁶, supplied as inner‑wrapped pairs in sterile pouches, ready for the sterile field.

Export discipline

SEZ‑based operations built for international trade: documentation, labelling and logistics tuned for regulated markets.

Where We're Going

Investing in chemistry and capacity.

The move away from lead is reshaping radiation protection, and we are building for it: our bismuth oxide and tungsten series give lead‑free procurement policies real attenuation numbers to specify, and our development work continues to push the tactility‑to‑shielding ratio of every film we dip.

Alongside the clinical range, we are expanding capacity and automation at our NSEZ site to serve growing export demand — with the same principle throughout: publish the data, and let the numbers sell the glove.
